Great family portraits begin long before you arrive at the studio for your portrait session.  Ask any mom who has prepared her family for a portrait session--getting your family to a portrait session can be a daunting task.  For this reason, Graham Photography has designed a process that begins with a process to prepare you for the day of your family portrait AND understands your desire to have a photographer who guides you and your family through the portrait session with zero stress!

Most family portraits are "literal" portraits (subjects looking at the camera).  For a special emotion and effect in your decor, we also create "interpretive" portraits, portraying relationships and emotions among family members.  Consider including interpretive portraits in your portrait session.

Please tell the men of your family that we understand and respect their desire to have a QUICK and efficient session.  We have tailored a process that accommodates them as well.  While we watch for important details such as clothing, jewelry and hair (thankfully, we are nestled in a quiet valley where the breezes are gentle), we don't micro pose this way and that way as though this were the first portrait session we ever photographed.  We keep things moving and create many portraits in a short amount of time.  Men love our portrait sessions.  Time and again the testmony of many men, in manly eloquence, has been, "that wasn't so bad!"
